Totally Random Post

George can be so mean to Skylar sometimes. He used to always say she had a "frying pan" forehead, meaning she had a big, flat forehead. He also used to say she could "cook an egg on her forehead".

When Bart first started getting his permanent teeth in, his first front tooth seemed really too big for his face. So George would say "Bart's here with his four-foot tooth" to be funny, but it was pretty mean, too. Also, when Bart was needing a haircut, George would say he looked like a little furry mushroom, which Bart hated.

While we're on the subject of mean names, George keeps saying that Drake has a huge head. He calls him the big, freaky-headed boy. Honestly, we are going to have to dish out so much money so that our kids can have therapy. It will be a miracle if they have any sort of self-esteem at all by the time they move out.

So far Lucy has escaped her father's cruel sense of humor. The worst he's done so far is to start calling her "Loomis", which I can't understand. It sounds like an old man's name, but sadly for her, it has stuck. We're all calling her "Loomis" now or "Loomy".

Here's Loomis playing with a watermelon.

Bart and Drake love to dress up. They dress up as pirates, cowboys, clone troopers, Jedi - the list goes on and on. Here's one of their most recent disguises:

Bart and Drake as n'er-do-wells.

Drake in his new goggles (he is not happy with me at the moment).

OK. He's better now.

Things got real quiet during the Little Two's nap time the other day. Always a sure sign that something is up. When I went to find out what the Big Two were doing, this is what I found:

Our stairs and the upstairs hallway had been transformed into a zoo.

Here's Lucy attacking her big brother.
