Monday a bunch of us went to the beach for one last summertime hurrah. It was a glorious day for being out on the beach. It was hot but not too hot, the wind and waves weren't too terribly rough, and the water felt fabulous. On days like that, I would absolutely pitch a tent and live on the beach.
Actually, we did pitch a tent, but Drake was the only one who used it.
Lucy tested out her sea legs.
Skylar and Jamie got buried in the sand....
....and dug themselves free again.
The boys dug a pretty cool pool that lasted until the tide came in.
Lucy only ate a little sand this time.
