I am a stay at home mom of four. I have two girls ages 12 and 3 and two boys who are 9 and 5. I have been (fairly) happily married to my high-school sweetheart, George, for thirteen years. We live in mild New Bern, North Carolina. Right now I'm very much enjoying staying at home with my little ones and trying to enjoy every minute of it. I'm a sometime writer with dreams of publishing novels, if I can ever get more than an hour to myself. I started this blog primarily to share the every-day happenings of life in my crazy house with family and friends. Feel free to read on if you are neither family nor friend, though. You might find it humorous, or you might just find it pathetic. You might even be able to relate.
During the time George was home recovering from his little surgery (at the beginning of April), we decided to up and go to Greenville one Thursday afternoon for the express and single purpose of buying a dozen hot and fresh Krispy Kreme donuts.
Unfortunately, they only make them hot and fresh at specific times in the a.m and p.m and we were in the middle of those two times. Still, the donuts were sweet and yummy and we got to watch them being made.
